Fishing and the outdoors have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. If there is anything I can sit and talk about for hours, it is fishing. I love to share stories and tactics with anyone who will listen. Sharing the thrills of the experience is what makes the adventure so much fun.

In this passage we see the beginning of a story that we must share. I like to think that Jesus strategically chose some fishermen to share the message and stories of Christ to the people. I have never met a fisherman that could resist the chance to share with great detail the explosion of a largemouth bass on a top water plug or the size and strength of a big bluegill. With this idea in mind, we must ask ourselves as outdoorsman, “Will we answer God’s call to share the message of Jesus Christ?” I hope the answer is “Yes!”

Clearwater Ministries strives to blend the thrill and fun of outdoor experiences with the peace and joy of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. We share our stories and God’s blessings on our lives in a newsletter we call “The Sea of Galilee”, a publication geared at encouraging you to share the message of Christ through bible studies and scripture passages. We also aspire to deliver God-centered fellowships, kids’ camps, contests, tournaments, and outdoor retreats for everyone who loves Christ.
